Dom Sigalas VST Overview: Lux Orchestral String
Scope Dom Sigalas needed a comprehensive VST tutorial video for his YouTube channel covering Lux Orchestral Strings from Sonoscore. The goal was to walk composers and producers through the library's features (articulations, legato styles, morphing capabilities, auto-orchestration) in a way that matched his established brand style and kept viewers engaged through 22+ minutes of technical demonstration. Process Dom delivered footage from his Sony FX3 shoot. I edited in Final Cut Pro using MotionVFX DesignStudio elements to match the visual language of his previous videos. The challenge was balancing comprehensive feature coverage with pacing that wouldn't lose viewers (lots of real-time demonstrations meant careful audio mixing and visual rhythm). 3 day turnaround from raw footage to final delivery. Solution The final 22-minute video systematically covers every major feature of the library while maintaining Dom's signature presentation style. The edit supports the technical content without getting in the way (clean transitions, consistent branding, mix that lets the VST sounds shine). This is part of ongoing editorial work with Dom's channel.
