Dom Sigalas VST Overview: Etude & Verve

Scope Dom needed a polished product demonstration video for a client showcasing two mobile piano instruments: Etude and Verve for iPhone and iPad. Unlike his YouTube tutorial content, this required a cleaner, more commercial presentation with no jump cuts and straightforward feature walkthroughs targeting mobile music producers and Cubasis users. Process Working from Dom's Sony FX3 footage, I edited in Final Cut Pro with MotionVFX DesignStudio elements. The editorial approach was less creative and more controlled than Dom's personal channel work (no rapid cuts, smoother pacing, letting the product demonstrations breathe). The goal was to showcase both piano instruments comprehensively while maintaining a professional, commercial tone. 3-4 day turnaround. Solution The final video presents both Etude (concert grand) and Verve (felt piano) with clear feature demonstrations and sound comparisons. The edit prioritizes clarity and polish over personality, matching the requirements for client-facing commercial content rather than YouTube tutorial style.
